Finally....

Alright, I know some of you have been wanting these pictures from our trip to Ontario. We spent the month of May at Nana and Papa's house while Jay did an emerg elective at the two hospitals in KW.

I just finished taking an Intro to Photography course at SAIT. I thought I would post a couple of the pictures I've taken for my assignments. One of my assignments was to take a portrait picture, hence the three pics of Jay and Ethan together.

So, Ethan got a fever for a few days in Maui and basically just crashed wherever we went...

Fun in the sun!

So we just recently returned from a glorious 9 day trip to Maui!! We needed to escape the frigid Calgary winter so we booked some cheap flights and headed to Maui with another couple (Mark & Sarah Bromley) and their 6-month old (Madi). We had some awesome sun, a few partly cloudy days, and the temperature was perfect for Ethan. Ethan was initially a bit afraid of the sand, but warmed up to it. The whales were migrating past Maui while we were there, so we saw tons of whales off the beach right outside of our condo! Too bad we had to come back!

Some late additions....

So I have been putting off posting pictures from when Ethan was 10 months old because the folder has over 500 photos to sort through. Partial thanks goes to my good friend Heather!!! But I will take some responsibility too. I am trying to learn to delete as I go...but it doesn't always work! Darn these digital cameras! Now some would think that's nothing, but I have come to hate staring at a computer screen for longer that 20 minutes at a time and so I procrastinate. That being said, I will post just a few pictures here and then create an album with more extensive pictures for those interested.

So our friend Heather offered to take a few family photos for us. Unfortunately Ethan wasn't in the best of moods that day...he was actually crying in some of them...so not Ethan's style! But here are a few of the best pics.

Rocky Mountain Christmas!

We had our families fly to us this year and spent Christmas week in the mountains. We rented a large home in the Three Sisters Village just outside Canmore. We had a fantastic week relaxing in the hot tub, skiing, snowshoeing and hanging out in the large theatre room.
